The Randolph Elementary School Roadrunners visited Courthouse Station 5 to learn everything that it meant to be a firefighter. District Chief Dowdy, EMT Dawn Shibley, EMT Elizabeth Rudd, Recruit Bobby Rudd and Recruit Mike Roberts assisted in showing the students everything from how to put on our gear to what we can do in an ambulance. The 80 students that attended enjoyed watching Chief Dowdy and the other members talk about how we handle emergencies. While many of our apparatus were out on a fire the kids were able to see Ambulance 53, Attack 5, Brush 5 and the Water Rescue Boat. It was a pleasure to serve our students and teachers in the community.
